The little game guide
Chicken Crossing: one more step?
Guide a chicken across a road of up to 12 lanes. After a safe step, decide whether to continue or collect once the checkpoint is reached. This is a game of chance played with virtual coins, not a traffic-timing challenge.

How to play Chicken Crossing
Choose the crossing
Pick Easy, Medium, Hard or Hardcore and choose your virtual-coin stake. Review the ladder and checkpoint before selecting Start crossing.
Take the next step
Each press of Take next step attempts one lane. A safe step advances the chicken; a hit ends the crossing and loses the stake. Waiting between steps does not move the chicken.
Collect at the checkpoint
Cash out becomes available at the checkpoint marked on your current ladder. After reaching it safely, you can collect or risk continuing. Clearing all 12 lanes collects automatically.
What changes with difficulty?
The chance of being hit on each attempted step is 8% on Easy, 13% on Medium, 20% on Hard and 30% on Hardcore. These are per-step risks, not the risk of the whole crossing. Timing your tap against the animated traffic does not change the odds.
Why is Cash out sometimes locked?
The checkpoint is the first lane whose multiplier is at least 1.01 times the stake. Its position depends on the difficulty and current payout settings. Check the marked checkpoint before you start; collecting is also unavailable while a step is moving.
What happens if I leave the screen?
Leaving does not cancel or refund an active crossing. An accepted step still resolves, and you can resume after reconnecting. The ladder accepted at the start stays fixed for that crossing.
Is Chicken Crossing free to play?
Yes. Cheeky Comet uses free virtual coins for browser play. These coins have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash prizes. Open the arcade on your phone, tablet or desktop; no app download is needed.
